When an off-the-shelf piece is not the right fit.
Existing buildings do not always suit standard sizes or profiles. A replacement timber detail may need to match what is already there, while a new piece needs to work with the dimensions and character of the opening.
At our workshop on London Road in Hilsea, we make bespoke joinery and purpose-made timber components. The portfolio includes oak window boards, a redwood door, storm doors and a timber window repair.
For matching or repair work, start by showing us the existing piece and explaining what needs attention. A clear photograph of the profile, joint or damaged area is useful alongside a wider photograph. Workshop visits are by appointment so there is time to discuss the project.
