GENERAL CARPENTRY · PORTSMOUTH & HAMPSHIRE
Carpentry.
Care in every detail.
General carpentry in Portsmouth and Hampshire, including doors, flooring, stairs and interior finishing work. Tell us what needs fitting, replacing or completing in your home.

MADE AROUND YOUR PROJECT
Careful work, from the main feature to the final fit.
Carpentry brings together many parts of a home: a door that fits its opening, the timber details around a staircase or the finishing work that makes a room feel complete. Small details can be especially noticeable when new work meets existing woodwork.
I’m Simon, a Portsmouth carpenter and joiner with over 25 years’ experience and a City & Guilds background. Our project photographs include loft carpentry and flooring, a fitted internal door, and a timber and glass balustrade.
If your project involves several jobs, put them together in one enquiry. Explain what has already been done, what materials you have and which parts you would like us to look at. Photographs usually make the first conversation much clearer.

A USEFUL STARTING POINT
Tell us about
your project.
You do not need every detail worked out before getting in touch. A few practical details will help us understand the work.
- A short list of the jobs you would like carried out.
- Photographs showing the work and the surrounding area.
- Your location and any access considerations.
- Details of materials already purchased or other work planned in the room.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
A couple of
common questions.
Can I enquire about a smaller carpentry job?
Yes. Describe the job and send photographs where possible. We can discuss the work before deciding what is needed.
Can you match existing woodwork?
Matching work is part of our joinery offering. Send a close-up photograph of the existing detail and a wider view of the room so we can discuss a suitable approach.
